On Thursday 31st October (Halloween) we will be welcomed at the Shakespeare North Playhouse in Prescot for a guided tour. Afterwards there will follow an ‘afternoon tea’ style lunch.

At the Playhouse we will explore the cockpit theatre, a replica of a theatre built around 1629 and the outdoor spaces – the piazza and Sir Ken Dodd performance garden. The Playhouse is a newly designed building with accessibility in mind, the three floor’s accessed by a lift.

After lunch we make the short journey to Bents Garden Centre, Warrington to see their Christmas presentations and decorations. There we could perhaps get some ideas for presents and maybe sample their excellent cake in the restaurant.
